LUMERA LASER GmbH is established world leader in development and manufacturing of picosecond-laser systems. LUMERA LASER was the first to demonstrate an industrially packaged picosecond lasers and has been the acknowledged market dominator in this technology. Picosecond lasers have become the key technology to obtain the highest quality micromachining without thermal side effects. Micromachining remains to be the largest field of deployment for ps-laser systems.
In 2011 LUMERA LASER significantly increased the power specification for the RAPIDTM series whilst yet again reducing the prices. Continued price reduction and performance increase allows ps-lasers a broader access to an ever increasing field of applications.
In addition to the improvements in the RAPIDTM series, LUMERA LASER also added the PLECTERTM and LazuLiteTM as new quasi-CW sources to its lineup of products. The LazuLiteTM delivers 10W UV (355nm) at 80MHz and is ideally suited for direct imaging applications.
By now more than 600 LUMERA ps-lasers are in use worldwide. Some of those applications include sophisticated marking, photovoltaics, LED dicing and partitioning of display glass.

The LUMERA LASER team of about 100 qualified professionals concentrates on product development, manufacture of lasers with industrial reliability, and global 24/7 service and OEM support. LUMERA LASER offers the services of an experienced application lab for proof-of-principle and process development. Additionally, a job shop offers to bridge delivery time and support for ramping up production to large scale quantities.
